The Thompson Warriors swept Stanhope Elmore with a pair of one-run victories to conclude the regular season April 12.

The Warriors (37-8) defeated Stanhope 4-3 in game-one and 3-2 in game-two.

Peyton Johnson pitched a complete game for the game-one victory while allowing three runs on six hits with seven strikeouts. Houston Davenport led the Warriors with a 2-for-3 effort with a double and two RBIs.

Davis Cox scored on a wild pitch to give Thompson the 3-2 game-two win. Drew Avans pitched three scoreless innings in relief and had seven strikeouts. Cox finished the game 1-for-2 with a triple and a RBI.
