The Chelsea Hornets softball team held a 2-1 lead after five innings, but Alabama Christian responded with three runs in the final two innings for a 4-3 win over the Hornets April 12 at the Pelham tournament.

Bailey Coyne took the loss for Chelsea while allowing three runs on seven hits with a strikeout in five and a third innings pitched. Caiti Davis finished 1-for-3 with a double and a RBI and Erin Jones added a 1-for-3 effort with a double.
