The Briarwood Christian Lions finished 1-3 in pool play at the 2013 Baptist Health System Hoover Bucs Spring Break Classic with a 7-3 loss to Hartselle March 27.

Briarwood (11-11) took a 3-1 lead in the top of the third, but Hartselle responded with six unanswered runs to take the victory.

Jake Bracewell took the loss for the Lions allowing five runs on four hits with a strikeout and two walks.

Chandler Wilkins went 1-for-2 with three RBIs on a bases loaded double in the third.
