HOOVER – Alabama 119 has been reopened after Shelby County 911 received a report at 11:42 a.m. of a motor vehicle crash with injuries on Alabama 119, stated a release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

The wreck occurred on Alabama 119 near the intersection of Meadowood Drive, according to a release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

This intersection is approximately one mile south of U.S. 280.

The motor vehicle crash was investigated by the Alabama State Troopers with assistance from the Metro-Shelby Traffic Homicide Investigation Task Force. Sheriff’s deputies responded along with Hoover Police, Alabama State Troopers and Cahaba Valley Fire and Rescue.
