Evangel Christian won its final regular season game of the season, defeating Hope Academy of Talladega 43-21 in a non-conference girls basketball contest on Feb. 7.

Anna Byers scored ten of her game high 18 points in the first quarter to help the Lightning jump out to an 18-7 lead. She also pulled down 14 rebounds for the game. Lacey Entrekin added 12 points and eight rebounds for Evangel, which heads into the Alabama Christian Sports Conference tournament Feb. 15-16 with a 12-7 season record.
