The Kingwood Christian Lady Lions fell to Monroe Academy 57-51 in their first game at the AISA Class 3A, Region II tournament Jan. 31.

Madelyn Pearce led all scorers with 24 points, eight rebounds, five steals and two blocks. Blair Holsembeck had 19 points, 10 assists, six rebounds and three steals.
