MVES wins Xbox 360 kiosk

Meadow View Elementary School recently was named one of 25 schools in the nation to receive an Xbox 360 Kinect kiosk, valued at $2,800, from Fuel Up to Play 60.
The organization awarded the kiosk for the school’s successful strides in promoting healthy lifestyles.
Fuel Up to Play 60 is a nationwide nutritional and physical activity initiative created for schools by the National Football League, National Dairy Council, local dairy councils and the United States Department of Agriculture.
Fuel up to Play 60 provides schools with the resources to improve and encourage wellness among students, staff and families.
Fuel Up to Play 60 challenged schools participating in the program to submit success stories on how their school encouraged better nutrition and increased fitness.
Meadow View Elementary School submitted a success story on the wellness programs made possible by being a Fuel Up to Play 60 School and. Students will be able to enjoy the new interactive gaming station in the school fitness lab.
