MONTEVALLO – Locals who need help filing IRS forms can look no further than the Parnell Memorial Library Feb. 5-April 17.

Students from the University of Montevallo Stephens College of Business are offering free assistance on Tuesdays from 2-4:45 p.m. and 5-7 p.m., Wednesdays from 2-4:45 p.m., Thursdays from 2-4:45 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-12:45 p.m.

“The University of Montevallo Office of Service Learning is excited to participate in getting the word out about the service being offered because it is connecting Montevallo students with the community while also offering professional experience,” stated a press release. “For low-income individuals who do not have access to these services, the university is bringing the services to them.”

The service is free to anyone who wishes to participate, and participants do not have to live in Montevallo.
