A 24-year-old Alabaster man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in South Carolina over the weekend.
Lucas Nathaniel Horn was traveling in his 2003 Ford Mustang near Gaffney, S.C., at 6:35 a.m. Saturday when he veered off the road and overcorrected his vehicle, causing him to strike an embankment and overturn, said Lance Cpl. Jeff Gaskins of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Horn, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gaskins said the cause of accident is still under investigation.
