The Calera Lady Eagles took an early lead on No. 1 Oneonta, but were unable to hold on to it in a 41-33 loss at home Dec. 14.

The Lady Eagles took a 9-8 lead after the first quarter, but scored just four points in the second to fall behind 17-13 at the half. Calera rallied back in the third to cut the deficit to two, but Oneonta outscored the Lady Eagles 14-8 in the fourth to seal the win.

Tyesha Haynes led Calera with 12 points while Jeda Doss added 11 points.
