The Chelsea Lady Hornets held off county-rival Shelby County for a 49-46 victory Dec. 7.

Shelby County took an early 10-point lead in the first quarter, but the Lady Hornets rallied for a 25-24 lead at the half. Chelsea closed the game strong at the free throw line to sea the win.

Courtney Campbell led Chelsea with 20 points and eight steals. Amanda Mock added a double-double effort scoring 16 points with 17 rebounds.

Hallie Brown led Shelby County with a game-high 21 points. Kalen Starks finished with 18 points.
