The Briarwood Christian School girls’ soccer team defeated John Carroll Catholic 3-0 in its final Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A, Section 5 match April 28.

Sarah Drew Mulvaney led the Lions (9-9) with two goals in the victory.

Cat Cowen added one goal. Amanda Smeltzer finished with two assists in the win.

Briarwood Christian goalkeeper Anna Handlin recorded one save.
