COLUMBIANA – The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said this morning that all roadways within the county are clear and open.

Drivers are still encouraged to use caution and safety, the sheriff’s office said through a press release.

In a prepared statement, Sheriff Chris Curry extended his sympathies to those across the state who suffered losses.

“I pray for all of the families who lost loved ones last night and that the families who still have missing family members will find them safe today,” Curry said. “We will offer our assistance to law enforcement agencies across the State as they deal with the aftermath of these storms.”
