16-year-old missing from Montevallo home

MONTEVALLO — The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing Montevallo teenager.
Yolanda Guadalupe Martinez, 16, is believed to have run away from her home in the 100 block of Quincy Lane Nov. 9.
Martinez is 5-foot-5 and weighs approximately 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is possibly accompanied by a male known as “Miguel.” He is believed to be 18-19 years of age and a former Thompson High School student.
Martinez last spoke to her family Nov. 18.
Sheriff’s investigators do not suspect foul play in her disappearance, but have exhausted every possibility attempting to locate her and are asking for the public’s help.
