The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated Kingwood Christian School 13-1 in high school baseball action April 8.

Hunter Winslett led the Rebels (28-4) at the plate as he finished with a double and drove in three runs in the victory.

Preston Parker finished with two doubles and drove in a run. Garrett McMillan had a double and drove in one run. Jarrod Mims added two doubles. Saxon Grimes had a double and drove in one run.

Myles Varner had one hit and drove in one run. John Bullen also had a hit.

Nick Bates earned the win on the mound after giving up one run with 10 strikeouts in four innings. Hunter Roe struck out three batters in one inning as the duo combined for a no-hitter.
