Pelham sweeps golf matches

The Pelham High School girls’ golf team swept matches against Thompson and Gardendale in high school golf action April 6-7.
The Panthers edged Thompson in a round April 6. Pelham fired a score of 159. The Warriors carded a team score of 197.
Kendall Alford finished as the low medalist in the match with her nine-hole score of 51 strokes.
Nicole Frank finished with her best score this season with a nine-hole score of 53. Emily Rames also had her best round of the season with her nine hole score of 55 strokes.
Pelham topped Gardendale in a round April 7. Alford led the Panthers with her nine-hole score of 50 strokes, which marked her lowest round of the year.
