Reeltown ends Yellow Jackets’ season

The Vincent Yellow Jackets scored on their first drive of the game, but was unable to find the end zone again to fall 34-8 to the Reeltown Rebels in the Class 2A playoffs on Nov. 9.
Rodney Groce put the Yellow Jackets ahead 8-0 on a 27-yard touchdown run on Vincent’s first offensive series.
Reeltown then held Vincent scoreless on their way to the 34-8 victory.
“We made some mistakes but the kids fought extremely hard,” said Yellow Jackets’ head coach Zeb Ellison. “it was one of our better games we have played defensively.”
