The Pelham High School softball team edged Mountain Brook 3-2 in high school softball action April 5.

Caitlyn Sapp led the Panthers at the plate as she finished 2-for-3 with a home run. Sapp drove in one run and scored one run in the victory.

Erin Whitman finished 1-for-3 and scored a run. Emily Spain went 1-for-2 and drove in one run. Jessie Breland and Becky Fox each  finished 1-for-3 at the plate.

Lindsey Pyle scored one run. Alicia Richardson drove in one run.

Fox allowed two earned runs on eight hits with two strikeouts and two walks in a complete game.
