Cornerstone Christian defeats Chambers Academy

The Cornerstone Christian School baseball team defeated Chambers Academy 27-5 in high school baseball action April 5.
Austin Davis led the Chargers at the plate as he finished 3-for-6 with a double. Davis drove in three runs and scored three runs in the victory.
Auston Wingard, who drove in two runs and scored two runs, finished 3-for-6 at the plate. Stephan Young, who drove in one run and scored three runs, went 2-for-5 with a double. Kendall Moore finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Clayton Halbert, who drove in five run and scored two runs, went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double. Dylan Rodgers finished 1-for-4 and scored two runs. Seth Woody, who drove in one run and scored one run, went 1-for-3 at the plate. Chase Payne finished 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Austin Andrews finished 1-for-2 at the plate and drove in one run.
Tim Warren went 1-for-2 and scored two runs. Sterling Reither finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored. Adrian Young, who drove in one run and scored three runs, went 1-for-3 with a double. Josh Anderson finished 1-for-2 with three RBIs and a run scored.
Young earned the win on the mound after giving up three earned runs on four hits with four strikeouts and three walks in three innings. Moore allowed two earned runs on two hits with a walk in two innings.
