Cornerstone Christian defeats Lyman Ward

The Cornerstone Christian School baseball team defeated Lyman Ward 18-2 in high school baseball action March 31.
Austin Davis led the Chargers (13-4-1) at the plate as he finished 2-for-4 with a triple. Davis drove in two runs and scored three runs in the victory.
Sterling Reither went 1-for-2 with a double and scored one run. Dylan Rodgers, who drove in two runs and scored three runs, finished 2-for-4 at the plate. Chase Payne finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Auston Wingard went 1-for-2 and drove in a run. Seth Woody, who drove in three runs and scored one run, went 1-for-3 at the plate. Clayton Halbert finished 1-for-2 and scored two runs.
Hagan Joiner scored three runs. Adrian Young scored two runs.
Young earned the win on the mound after giving up just two hits with two strikeouts and two walks in a three-inning complete game.
