The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated Lyman Ward 18-4 in high school baseball action March 11.

Stephen Cryer led the Rebels (15-2) at the plate as he finished with three hits and two RBIs.

Preston Parker had two hits and drove in two runs. Jarrod Mims finished with two hits, including a double, and drove in a run. Saxon Grimes added two hits.

Garrett McMillan had a double and drove in a run.

Hunter Winslett earned the win on the mound after giving up one earned run with a strikeout in two innings.
