The Thompson High School girls’ tennis team defeated Chilton County 8-1 in a high school tennis match March 10.

The Warriors won five of the six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against Chilton County.

Victoria Killingsworth of Thompson defeated Laura Evans of Chilton County 8-1 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Olivia Sorrell of Thompson defeated Anna Adams of Chilton County 8-5 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Anna Conn of Thompson defeated Anna Bearden of Chilton County 8-1 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Courtney Foster of Thompson fell to Mary Colby Kelley of Chilton County 7-6 in the No 4 singles’ match.

Jordan Hall of Thompson defeated Krissi Jones of Chilton County 6-0 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Emily Boling of Thompson defeated Taylor Chandler of Chilton County 6-1 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Erin Hutter and Maria Siow of Thompson defeated Evans and Adams 8-0 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Killingsworth and Laura Harwell of Thompson defeated Bearden and Kelley 8-0 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Madison Layton and Madison Cheek of Thompson defeated Francia Lopez and Jones of Chilton County 8-5 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.

BOYS

The Thompson High School boys’ tennis team fell to Chilton County 5-4 in a high school tennis match March 10.

The Warriors won three singles’ matches and one doubles’ match against Chilton County.

Wes Robinson of Thompson defeated Chase Baker of Chilton County 8-6 in the No. 2 singles’ match. Clay Anthony of Thompson defeated A.J. Davidson of Chilton County 7-5 in the No. 5 singles’ match.

Jared Pendleton-Cowsar of Thompson defeated Conner Morgan of Chilton County 8-2 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Tony Pendleton and James Langnes of Thompson defeated Davidson and Morgan of Chilton County 8-6 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
