PELL CITY-Vincent jumped to a 40-0 first-half lead and cruised to a 59-16 win over Victory Christian on Oct. 5 at Victory.

Vincent coach Zeb Ellison said this was a game where the team had to focus more on themselves than the opposition and he thought they did that.

“I think we responded well to what we had to do tonight,” Ellison said.

It was the first time all season Vincent had less than 400 yards of offense, but only had 24 plays on offense all night. The Yellow Jackets scored multiple ways with two kickoff returns for a touchdown, a punt return for a touchdown and an interception return for a touchdown.
