Calera softball falls to Maplesville

The Calera High School softball team fell to Maplesville 12-11 in high school softball action March 7.
Kymber McGiboney led the Eagles at the plate as she finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Skyler Laird went 2-for-4 with an RBI and scored a run. Shelby Clark finished 1-for-2 and scored two runs. Jocelyn Davis finished 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Anna Seabury went 1-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Samantha Smith finished 1-for-2 and scored two runs. Lindsay Hammac finished 1-for-3 and drove in two runs.
Hayley Merritt went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Morgan Tate took the loss in the circle after giving up nine runs, including eight earned runs, on 12 hits with one strikeout and two walks in a complete game.
