The Chelsea High School softball team defeated Shelby County 15-1 in high school softball action March 7.

Caitlin Bice led the Hornets at the plate as she finished 2-for-2.

Morgan Pence drove in four runs. Allie Luster drove in two runs.

Bice picked up the win in the circle after giving up only one earned run on four hits in a complete game.

Brianna Buie scored the only run for the Wildcats with her solo home run in the top of the first inning.

Kaitlyn Paschall took the loss in the circle after giving up eight earned runs on eight hits in three innings.

Jecca Carden gave up three earned runs and struck out three batters in relief.
