The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated Morgan Academy and Northside (Ga.) in its final two games at the Prattville Christian Academy tournament March 4.

The Rebels (10-2) defeated Morgan Academy 4-1 in their opener in the doubleheader.

Jarrod Mims led Coosa Valley at the plate with a double and an RBI.

John Bullen and Myles Varner each had a hit and an RBI. Saxon Grimes finished with a double. Garrett McMillan had a single.

Hunter Roe (2-0) picked up the win on the mound after striking out eight batters in five innings.

Coosa Valley defeated Northside (Ga.) 8-6 in its final game in the tournament.

Roe led the Rebels at the plate with a hit and two RBIs.

Hunter Winslett finished with a hit and drove in a run. Bullen had a double. Daniel Kennedy and Stephen Cryer finished with a hit each. Preston Parker drove in a run.

Kennedy (3-1) picked up the win on the mound after striking out three batters.
