ALABASTER-Kingwood Christian School defeated Lee-Scott Academy 3-2 (25-22, 21-25, 25-16, 20-25, 15-7) on Sept. 28 at Kingwood.
The Lions were led by Madelyn Pearce with 13 kills and four digs while Casey Whitmer added seven kills, four blocks, four digs and an ace.  Katie Allen Etheridge had nine kills, six digs, and a block while Sloane Pickett chipped in six kills, three aces, and two digs. Blair Holsombeck paced the Lions with 24 assists, four digs, and an ace.

The Lions (22-6) have won six of their last seven and ten of their last twelve.
