The Vincent High School softball team opened its season with a 14-0 loss to Fultondale in high school softball action March 3.

Courtney Holston led the Yellow Jackets (0-1) at the plate as she finished 1-for-2 at the plate with a single to center field. Holston recorded the lone hit for Vincent.

Gaby Towery stole two bases.

Holston, who struck out two batters, took the loss in the circle in the five-inning game.
