The Thompson High School softball team defeated Chelsea 6-4 in high school softball action March 1.

The Warriors (4-3) scored three runs in the sixth inning to overcome a 4-3 deficit.

Marly Terrell led Thompson at the plate as she finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base.

Taylor Powell went 2-for-2 with two doubles and an RBI. Rachel Rigney finished 2-for-4 with a double. Ashleigh Short went 1-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored.

Powell picked up the win in the circle after giving up four runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts and two walks in a complete game.

Allie Luster led Chelsea at the plate as she finished 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.

Caitlin Bice finished 1-for-3 and scored a run.
