The Spain Park High School girls’ tennis team dropped a match with Montgomery Academy 8-1 in high school tennis action Feb. 22.

The Jaguars won the No. 1 singles’ match before dropping the remainder of the matches.

Kati Baker of Spain Park defeated Hollan Smith of Montgomery Academy 10-8 in the No. 1 singles’ match.

Lauren Schroeder, Madison Luther, Robyn Mitchell, Lulu Zhang, and Kensley Yarbrough each dropped singles’ matches.

Teams consisting of Baker and Schroeder, Luther and Mitchell and Zhang and Yarbrough dropped doubles’ matches against Montgomery Academy.
