The Thompson High School volleyball team picked up a pair of wins over Stanhope Elmore and R.E. Lee on the road Sept. 11.

Thompson (11-,7 1-0) defeated Stanhope Elmore 25-13, 25-10, 25-10 to start the day.

Kelsea Bivins led the Warriors with nine kills with Katie Guiser and Taylin McCarver each adding seven kills. Ashley Fondren led with a team-high 10 assists.

The Warriors ended the night with a 25-21, 25-10 win over R.E. Lee.

McCarver and Milea Ray each tallied four kills to lead Thompson while Tara Miller and Fondren each accounted for 13 assists.
