The Cornerstone Christian volleyball team swept area rival East Memorial Christian Academy in straight sets, 25-7, 25-22, 25-14 Sept. 11.

Junior middle hitter Amber Johnson led Cornerstone with nine kills, five aces and two blocks. Tamera Kirksey added seven kills and five aces. Nicki Waldrop contributed a team-high 10 assists.

Cornerstone’s game at South Montgomery on Thursday, Sept. 13 has been rescheduled for Oct. 2. They will return to action on Sept. 18 hosting Meadowview Christian.
