The Oak Mountain High School girls’ soccer team defeated Hoover 2-0 in a soccer match Feb. 17.

Two players scored a goal each for the Eagles in the victory.

Haley Gerken gave Oak Mountain a 1-0 lead following her goal in the 51st minute of the contest. Gerken’s goal was assisted by Megan Dancy.

Bailee Harnett scored the final goal for the Eagles in the 60th minute of the match off an assist by Vicki Hill.

Oak Mountain goalkeeper Jill Hester finished with two saves as she posted a shutout.
