The Spain Park High School volleyball team swept Briarwood Christian and Calera in a pair of high school volleyball matches Aug. 28.

The Jaguars defeated Briarwood Christian 25-23, 15-25, 16-14.

Morgan Scott led Spain Park with nine kills in the victory. Scott also posted a team-high four service aces and 10 digs.

McKenna McClain added seven kills, nine digs and two service aces. Madison Bearden and Alexis Smith chipped in three kills each. Smith also posted eight digs and two service aces.

Jordan Nakayama led the Jaguars with 19 assists. Chandler Horton contributed three assists.

Spain Park defeated Calera 25-15, 25-18.

Scott led the Jaguars with six kills and seven digs in the victory.

Kylie Beaubien added three kills and three digs. Bearden posted two kills. McClain finished with six digs and one service ace. Anna Marie Renta added one service ace.

Horton led Spain Park with four assists. Nakayama finished with five assists.
