Spain Park wrestlers split matches at dual meet

The Spain Park High School wrestling team split matches against Corner and Hayden at a dual meet Feb. 1.
The Jaguars defeated Corner 47-15 in the meet. Eight Spain Park wrestlers won their individual matches against Corner.
Connor Whatley of Spain Park pinned Dalton Absher of Corner in 2:26 in the 125-pound match. Conrad Hathcoat of Spain Park earned a 17-0 technical fall decision over Casey Fuller of Corner in the 135-pound match.
Jackson Cotney of Spain Park won the 103-pound match by forfeit. Alex Potts of Spain Park won the 152-pound match by forfeit.
Conner Tinney of Spain Park won the 160-pound match by forfeit. Alec Hudson of Spain Park won the 171-pound match by forfeit.
Mo Mills won the 189-pound match by forfeit. Kameron Ricks won the 215-pound match by forfeit.
Spain Park fell to Hayden 45-33 in the meet. Seven Jaguars won their individual matches against Hayden.
Tommy Bostany of Spain Park pinned Hayden’s Matthew Green in 1:30 in the 119-pound match. Andres Galindo of Spain Park pinned Cameron Robbins of Hayden in 57 seconds in the 125-pound match.
Blake Daniel of Spain Park pinned Josh Estes of Hayden in 1:57 in the 160-pound match. Mills earned a 4-1 decision over Anthony Scott of Hayden in the 189-pound match.
Mills pinned Chase Riley of Hayden in seven seconds in a 189-pound exhibition match. Hudson won the 171-pound match by forfeit.
Spain Park heavyweight Martin Canales won by forfeit.
