The Oak Mountain High School boys’ basketball team fell to Hoover 44-43 in a Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 28.

Colton McGriff led the Eagles (15-10 overall, 4-2 in Class 6A, Area 10) with a game-high 16 points.

GIRLS

The Oak Mountain High School girls’ basketball team fell to Hoover 77-28 in a Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 28.

Hannah Griffin led the Eagles (17-6 overall, 4-2 in Class 6A, Area 10) with 11 points, including two 3-pointers. Griffin has drained 19 3-pointers in the last eight games.

M.K. Shealy chipped in seven points. Madison Pierce added five points in the defeat.
