The Montevallo City Council has declared a vacancy in the council seat formerly held by Greg Pendleton. Qualified electors living in District 3 interested in filling the remainder of Councilmember Pendleton’s unexpired term are invited to submit their resumes to the mayor for consideration. The remainder of the term will last for approximately 21 months. A qualified elector must live in Montevallo’s District 3 and be a registered voter.

Resumes should be delivered to Montevallo City Hall, 545 Main Street, by 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11.
