On Oct. 26, 2010, 150 University of Alabama College of Education students were initiated into the Alpha Sigma Chapter of Kappa Delta Epsilon, a nationally based honor fraternity started in 1933. This honor was bestowed upon David L. Dixon, of Maylene and Robert Robinson, also of Maylene.
