On Friday, Nov. 5, students with adaptive PE from Calera Elementary and Middle enjoyed a field trip to Pelham’s YMCA. Students and teachers swam in the large indoor swimming pool. For some students it was their first time in a swimming pool. It was an exciting way to practice gross and fine motor skills, as well as social skills.
