The 2010 Shelby County boys’ and girls’ basketball tournament will be held Dec. 17-21.

The first round of games Dec. 17 will be played at Calera High School. All games Dec. 18-21 will be played at BankTrust Arena on the University of Montevallo campus.

Chelsea will meet Montevallo and Briarwood Christian will face Pelham in the opening round of the boys’ tournament Dec. 17. Oak Mountain will face Shelby County, Thompson will meet Vincent and Calera will play the Chelsea-Montevallo winner on Dec. 18.

The boys’ semifinal games are scheduled for Dec. 20. The championship and consolation games will be held Dec. 21.

Vincent will face Calera and Briarwood Christian will take on Chelsea in the opening round of the girls’ tournament Dec. 17. Shelby County will face Pelham, Thompson will meet Montevallo and Oak Mountain will play the Vincent-Calera winner on Dec. 18.

The girls’ semifinal games are scheduled for Dec. 20. The championship and consolation games will be held Dec. 21.
