The third grade classrooms at Calera Elementary celebrated Biome Day on Oct. 30. The students studied a variety of biomes and then each class chose one biome to research extensively. The students took a deeper look at the animals and plants that live in the biome. They also researched the food chains, predators and habitats that exist. Each third grade classroom was completely transformed into the biome of their choice. Some students from each classroom organized and presented oral presentations based upon information they researched.
