The Spain Park High School softball team defeated Fairfield 16-0 in high school softball action May 1.

April Scott led the Jaguars offensively as she finished 3-for-3 at the plate with a double. Scott drove in three runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Madi Gipson finished 2-for-2 at the plate with a pair of doubles and drove in two runs. Erin Hornsby, who drove in two runs and scored two runs, went 2-for-2 at the plate. Amanda Ballew, who drove in one run and scored two runs, finished 2-for-2 at the plate.

Mary Kathryn Bonamy and Hornsby combined to pitch a one-hit shutout.
