The Westminster School at Oak Mountain boys’ soccer team defeated Leeds 6-1 in its first ever playoff match in the opening round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A-1A playoffs May 1.

Garrett Smith and Whitten Green led the Knights with two goals each in the victory.

Jeffrey Stanford and George Miller added one goal each in the win.

Westminster goalkeeper Jake Doggett finished with 10 saves in the victory.

The Knights will face Altamont in a Class 4A-1A quarterfinal match May 5.
