The Evangel Christian School baseball team defeated Success Unlimited Academy 19-1 in high school baseball action April 21.

Brandon Mackey led the Lightning offensively as he finished 3-for-4 at the plate with a triple. Mackey drove in three runs and scored three runs in the victory.

Nate Scott went 2-for-3 at the plate and scored three runs. Peter Lau, who drove in three runs and scored two runs, went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double.

Brentley Wells, who drove in one run and scored two runs, finished 1-for-1 at the plate. Satcher Wells, who drove in one run and scored one run, went 1-for-1 at the plate. Hahn Lau Hahn, who drove in one run and scored two runs, finished 1-for-3 at the plate.

Jacob Albright finished 1-for-1 at the plate and scored one run. Adam Richardson went 1-for-1 at the plate with a double and drove in one run. Andrew Thompson, who drove in two runs and scored one run, finished 1-for-2 at the plate with a triple.

Colton Kimbrel, who drove in two runs and scored one run, finished 1-for-4 at the plate. Josh Letson, who drove in one run and scored two runs, went 1-for-3 at the plate. Zac Shackelford finished 1-for-2 at the plate.

Aaron Clayton drove in one run. Daniel Ellis scored one run in the victory.

Letson earned the win on the mound after giving up just one hit with two strikeouts and two walks in 1 1/3 innings in relief.

Mackey allowed one earned run on one hit with five strikeouts and one walk in two innings. Albright allowed just one hit with two strikeouts in one inning.
