The Chelsea High School softball team defeated Moody 1-0 in extra innings in high school softball action April 24.

Alex Osborn lifted the Hornets to victory with her solo homer in the top of the ninth inning.

JoJo Johnston added two hits in the win. Caitlin Bice and Erin Jones finished with one hit each.

Kacie Craft earned the win in the circle for the Hornets after giving up just two hits with one strikeout and one walk in a nine-inning complete-game shutout.
