The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated Eastwood Academy in high school baseball action April 23.

Michael Mims led the Rebels (27-11) offensively as he finished with two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs.

Hunter Winslett also finished with two hits, a triple and a double, and drove in one run. Garrett McMillan added two hits and drove in one run.

Allen Logan finished with a double and drove in one run. Cody Wood finished with one hit and drove in one run. Tyler Hickman and Preston Park added one hit each.

Myles Varner earned his first win of the season on the mound.
