The Pelham High School softball team swept Stanhope Elmore and Moody in high school softball action April 13.

The Panthers defeated Stanhope Elmore 6-0.

Caitlyn Sapp led Pelham offensively as she finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a double. Sapp drove in two runs and scored one run.

Erin Whitman, who drove in two runs and scored one run, went 2-for-4 at the plate with a homer. Mary Morgan Dramer finished 2-for-4 at the plate and scored one run. Kristian Foster finished 1-for-4 at the plate. Emily Spain finished 1-for-3 at the plate and scored one run. Madi Walker scored two runs in the win. Whitney Gillespie drove in one run.

Gillespie earned the win in the circle after striking out four batters and issuing one walk in a four-inning no-hitter.

Becky Fox gave up just three hits with one strikeout and one walk in three innings in relief.

Pelham topped Moody 6-0.

Foster led the Panthers offensively as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double. Foster drove in three runs and scored one run.

Fox finished 2-for-2 at the plate and scored one run. Dramer went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored one run. Gillespie finished 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in two runs. Spain finished 1-for-2 at the plate and scored one run. Whitman drove in one run in the victory. Sapp scored one run.

Gillespie earned the win in the circle after giving up just two hits with four strikeouts and four walks in a five-inning complete-game victory.
