The University of Montevallo will honor the 2011-2012 men’s basketball team Wednesday, April 11 at 5:30 p.m. on Kermit A. Johnson Field prior to the Falcons’ baseball battle with in-state rival University of North Alabama.

The event will be free and open to the public.

The celebration will feature a cook-out, an autograph table, men’s basketball head coach Danny Young throwing out the first pitch and the world famous ZOOperstars. The entire team along with Young will be honored prior to the game.

After the pregame ceremony wraps up, the Falcons will make their way to an autograph table that will be set up inside the complex for fans to get their favorite players’ signature. The ZOOperstars will also be on hand to entertain the crowd throughout the game.

The ZOOperstars have been featured in the past on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, and numerous times on ESPN highlights. ZOOperstars characters include Mackerel Jordan, LeBronco James, Yao Flamingo, Stallion Iverson and Snail Earnhardt, Jr.
