Sheriff offers $5k reward in missing persons case

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office is announcing the offer of a reward in the investigation of Chelsea resident Carrie Elaine Gentry’s disappearance.
Gentry has been missing since about 7 p.m. March 28. An amount of up to $5,000 cash reward is available for information that helps solve this missing persons case. Sheriff’s investigators need information regarding Gentry’s whereabouts or the location of her automobile, a silver 2002 Lexus RX300 with Alabama tag number 58G19T1, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.
According to the release, anyone with information about the disappearance of Gentry, the location of her automobile or any other information regarding this case is encouraged to contact CrimeStoppers by calling 254-7777 or by going to the CrimeStoppers webpage at Metrocrimetips.com. Tips can be submitted online by selecting the “Submit A Tip” button and completing the tip form. All calls and online tip submissions are completely anonymous. Anyone supplying information does not have to give his or her name, and may receive a cash reward if submitted tip helps investigators solve this missing persons case.
