The Spain Park High School boys’ tennis team fell to Mountain Brook 6-3 in high school tennis action April 4.

Jack Nicholas of Spain Park fell to Trey Carter of Mountain Brook 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Will Hartsock of Spain Park fell to Eric Buchalter of Mountain Brook 7-5, 6-1 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Brit Sovic of Spain Park fell to Nelson Jetmundsen of Mountain Brook 7-5, 6-4 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Whalen Merrill of Spain Park defeated Jacob Weinaker of Mountain Brook 4-6, 7-5, 10-7 in the No. 5 singles’ match.

Baylor Cocke of Spain Park fell to Ben Shearer of Mountain Brook 7-5, 6-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Sam Lorino of Spain Park defeated Robby Scofield of Mountain Brook 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Nicholas and Hartsock fell to Carter and Buchalter 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Sovic and Merrill defeated Weinaker and Shearer 6-1, 0-6, 10-5 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Cocke and Lornio fell to Jetmundsen and Sam Lidikay of Mountain Brook 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
